When Does it End?

I suppose when I first admitted that I was Trans and that I would be transitioning I had an overwhelming amount of naivete about what that would entail. Moreover, I was probably locked into the same societally imposed headspace regarding what it means to be Transgender. Meaning that shamefully I must admit that I too considered Trans people as needing to achieve some surgically defined level of completion.

My views on this quickly shifted and evolved as I became educated by the community. This is a blessing that I am always grateful for, and it’s part of a larger reason why I still like to attend…
