All of this! I got banned from Tinder after ignoring the app for a while and going through a forced verification after logging in again. Although Tinder is known for this crap, they even did it to Trace Lysette.
There's the problematic "Transgenderdate" site. You never know what you're getting if you wade into those waters. You might encounter someone genuine, a chaser, or worse; someone who wants to end you.
Dating doesn't feel safe to me. But only 1 time have I ever ever scheduled a public meet up and was not left alone. And that one man was such a sweet fella; even introduced me to his parents after a couple weeks. Unfortunately I had to move for work, so that put an end to that. No other person has engaged with me that hasn't made me feel like a fuck toy, and I have zero interest in that.
So it's not that there aren't men out there, it's the safety considerations we need to factor into dating. That's why I inadvertently end up dating within the community; the likelihood of being a victim is significantly reduced.
